Only canon-derived items and techniques should be listed here. Both canon and fanon summoning contracts however, may be listed here.
Anybody wishing to learn of another's technique must ask for permission from its creator (if it's non-canon) no matter what the prerequisites for it are; this applies to everybody who accesses this wikia.
Deceased characters are prohibited from making initial claims, and maintaining claims on their lonesome. Likewise, if a character becomes deceased with no other characters designated to inherit their claims (or rather, no characters alive with a claim over it/them), then those claims can be claimed by another character (if they fulfill the minimal requirements to sufficiently make a claim).
Elemental abilities are prohibited from being claimed. Likewise for various in-game techniques.
Table items should be listed in alphabetical order. Abide to the code etiquette, if you make a mess of the table, be it intentional or accidental, it is your responsibility to amend it. Bans will be issued to repeat-offenders.
Things should only be claimed when there are no other users of it existing in the realm, to date. If there are, then they should either be added to the list of users (if it's a summoning/technique and possess the prowess to utilize it), or be contacted immediately onsite or in-game in order to dispute who holds the rights to it (tool/technique that is unique, and possesses the prowess to utilize it). Be sure to perform a search before attempting to claim anything in particular, for existing possessors.
If a non-claimed technique is modified and then claimed, it must make logical sense, right down to the most intricate of details.
Techniques can only be claimed through either declaring/making the claim initially, or being taught it by an existing character (with or without their consent (i.e. Soul Removal)).
While the items here are copyrighted in ownership, they can be claimed by another should they defeat the item's original possessor and obtain the item of interest.
All filler techniques (generally not introduced into the manga) should be nerfed to an acceptable level upon being claimed; they are just as justifiable as fanon-created content. They should neither be capable of assimilating another's Kekkei Genkai nor, for summons, possess a Kekkei Genkai or be a combination of summons as standalone contracts (i.e. Chimeric creatures; chimeric variants are acceptable, such as dragon humanoids for the dragon contract).
If a canon claim belongs to someone who has been inactive on SL for 90 days (not involved in any active roleplay; one-liner posts do not count), someone else may claim it. If it is a summoning contract or jutsu merely add yourself to it without removing the previous user. If it is a unique item than you replace the previous wielder. This only applies to items, contracts, and techniques with a single user (Unless ALL the people making a claim are inactive).
If you would like anything added (and not have to rectify the page by yourself), to any of the tables in particular, leave a message to Yomi, Koji or Hades or contact them in-game (note that you may subjected to a series of questions, depending on your claim).
NOTE: Only canon items should be displayed in the tables provided below. Fanon creation are considered copyrighted upon creation.
Kiba (牙; Literally meaning "Fangs") is a set of twin swords of the Seven Swordsmen of the Mist. They each have been imbued with lightning, displaying enhanced cutting power in a manner similar to the high-frequency vibrations of lightning-based chakra flow. It is this capability that has resulted in these "thunderswords" (雷刀, raitō) being claimed as the sharpest swords in existence.
The Sword of Totsuka, also known as the Sakegari Longsword (酒刈太刀, Sakegari no Tachi; Literally meaning "Sake Cutter Longsword"), is a variant of the Sword of Kusanagi. It is sheathed in a sake jar; the blade is actually the liquid inside the gourd that is released and shaped, rather than a conventional sword. It is an ethereal weapon, with an enchanted blade capable of sealing any person it pierces. Those who are stabbed by the sword are drawn into the jar and trapped in a genjutsu-like "world of drunken dreams" for all eternity.
It is a shield-like prototype weapon that was created by Iō. It contains a built-in firing mechanism for ninja tools such as manriki-gusari, bombs and senbon. If Tsuru-Kame runs out of tools, the wielder can reload it by inserting a scroll containing more tools into a compartment on the back. Its name can mean handle or bow string turtle.
NOTE:Bolded is the present contract holder. Subspecies' may be claimed so long as the species hasn't, or if the subspecies-claimer already claims the species. Likewise, a species cannot be claimed if a subspecies was claimed before it. Characters are limited to having their names on two contracts at any one time, be they the contract's holder or just another signer; to claim another summon, they must break their contract with an existing summon.
As of March 21 2013, subspecies of a specific summoning cannot be claimed without the primitive summoning contract holder's consent (i.e. wyverns cannot be claimed w/o the dragons summoning contract holder's approval).
Possessing powers beyond human understanding, they are often worshiped as guardians and deities by the people. Their strength are usually represented by their number of tails, with the Senbi (Thousand-tailed) being the most powerful of all. They reside in a realm that was created by the Senbi no Yōko.
Unquestionably one of the strongest summons in existence, considered to be actual deities by many. These creatures come in all shapes and sizes ranging from plain elemental dragons to healers and kamikaze. The middle and top tier dragons presenting cataclysmic chakras and elemental ability.
Immortal birds of legend, freely controlling fire to their own will's content. Their intense chakra levels are only surpassed by their sheer elemental prowess with fire. They have many sizes, allowing for versatile usage.
This concludes the entries for claimed summoning contracts.
NOTE: Only the more 'unique' canon techniques should be displayed here (as claimed). Techniques associated with the basic chakra natures may not be claimed, nor those (proven to be) associated with any of the canon-clans (i.e. Mangekyō Sharingan techniques such as Kamui and Tsukuyomi, Nara clan techniques).
This is a murder-suicidal technique. The user creates threads of chakra that are used to connect the user's heart to another person's. As long as the two are connected, any internal damage done to one will also be done to the other. This ultimately means that, if one person dies, so will the other. Only a kunai wrapped in a special Fūma clan tag can safely cut the threads and free the two.
The user seals away the target's memories by burying an extremely small needle into the brain's memory centre. The memories can be restored by cancelling the technique, thereby destroying the needle. If a subordinate had this operation done on their brains and has infiltrated in enemy camp, they can safely perform spy activity over a long period of time. If the user cancels the technique, the target will once again remember their mission.
A secondary trap is laid under the Five Seals Barrier. This technique is automatically started when the "forbidden"-tags are removed. An exact copy of the person who removed the tag appears with their appearance, weapons, battle skills, and so on. Because the double has a fixed amount of stamina and doesn't feel exhaustion, it has an advantage in a drawn-out battle. In order to cancel this technique and defeat their copy, the one who removed the tag has no choice but to somehow push past the previous limits that they had at the time they removed the tag.
