Enkidu: Chains of Heaven (天の鎖, Ten no Kusari) is the "greatest secret" stored in Angra Mainyu's pocket dimension. The strength and durability of the chain grows stronger with the target having higher levels of chakra, but is no more than a tough chain to a target with a small chakra capacity. Those gifted with expansive chakra pool's are completely held in place, allowing him to bind the "Bull of Heaven" that brought seven years of famine in Uruk. It does have some sort of limit, as even he is able to tell that the chain is not enough to completely bind a jinchūriki in its four-tailed cloaked form.

Angra Mainyu is capable of taking out the entire length of chain from the Gate of Infinity to use in conjunction with Ea when he is serious about fighting, or he can simply summon part of it from the Gate. The chain can be summoned from anywhere the Gate of Infinity can reach, elongate and contract without any shown limit, and multiple individual sections can be summoned at one time. The blade on the front of the chain is capable of acting as a striking weapon when launched at a high speed, and he can summon a single length to wrap around an opponent so he can drag them towards him by pulling it. Even against 'regular' humans possessing 'normal'-sized chakra pools, it is still a device nearly impossible pry off once it has gotten a hold of them.

Once activating it, numerous segments instantly appear to wrap around the opponent in order to bind them for his projectiles. He generally binds the opponent's weapon, limbs, shoulders, neck, and abdomen, rendering them completely immobile. The chains continuously twist and tighten with enough force to attempt to tear off a giant's head and bend its arms past their limits in a normally impossible direction. It appears to even bind the space around itself, and it is capable of rendering transportation using methods categorized under Space–Time Ninjutsu completely useless and nullified. It is possible for a target possessing a gargantuan amount of physical power to break the chain. That doesn't actually destroy it though, as the chain itself is capable of, through the application of its owner's chakra, self-reparation.
